ECHA attends NISTM Conference

ECHA was delighted to be in attendance at the 9th Annual NISTM Conference in Orlando last week, and exhibited alongside hundreds of others at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel where the event was being held.

Over three days of conference sessions, networking receptions and exhibitor discussions, ECHA interacted with some excellent companies from across the US and around the world, and was proud to present its key products and services to the National Institute of Steel Tank Management (NISTM) attendees.

The interest ECHA received in its products and services was staggering, and I was personally amazed to see just how many attendees were aware of the problems of microbiological contamination and microbially influenced corrosion (MIC) in storage tanks; yet they were still in need of a comprehensive, simple solution to their issues.

It truly was an excellent event for ECHA to attend, and it also allowed the company to formally make its first big strides into the US Storage Tank Sector. With the support of one of ECHA’s local Authorized Distributors, Santex Corporation (based out of Miami), the company was able to offer each and every visitor to its stand both a comprehensive solution to their specific needs, and a local presence that can respond almost instantly to product demand.

In addition, ECHA Managing Director, Graham Hill held a talk on “Microbially Influenced Corrosion in Storage Tanks” on the final day of the Conference, and this was received with extremely positive feedback from those in attendance.

In closing, I would also like to congratulate the Winner of our NISTM Competition, which required attendees to drop their Business Card into our Prize Draw for the chance to win a bottle of Penderyn Single Malt Welsh Whiskey. Sid Jennings of Tank Cribbing Inc was the lucky winner, and on behalf of everyone at ECHA, we hope you enjoy your prize!
